The cottage is ideally located for cycling, walking, trail running, climbing and fishing or a weekend away from it all. There is a footpath from Sheepwash Cottage linking directly with Carsington Water. Many footpaths from the village connect to nearby villages and also the High Peak Trail.
The High Peak Trail is a multi user off road path, with several bike hire options. It connects with the World Heritage Site at Cromford and the Tissington Trail leading you down to Ashbourne.
The cottage has a downstairs shower room which is perfect after a wet or muddy day out. Plus a washing machine for essential kit washing! An outside tap to hose down bikes and secure storage is available on request.
